Here is a breakdown of what to expect each week:

Week 1: Dec. 2, 2024, 6-8 pm GMT/1-3 pm ET | The Biology of Anger and its Surprising Message

Learn about how anger affects the body, and the brain and why we do and say what we do when we are in anger. We will examine the hidden needs beneath anger and what is the beneficial intention of anger. You may never see your anger in the same way again.

Week  2: Dec. 9, 2024,  6-8 pm GMT/1-3 pm ET | I’m Mad. Now What?

In this workshop, we will create custom strategies to take care of our anger. We will learn to advocate for ourselves and the needs beneath the anger instead of speaking in anger. Participants will work in dyads to practice their responses and craft requests to themselves for specific actions when they feel anger.

Week 3: Dec. 16, 2024, 6-8 pm GMT/1-3 pm ET | Gratitude, The Fuel of Life

Marshall Rosenberg described gratitude as the fuel that helps keep us compassionate in a world where that makes it hard to do so. In this workshop, we will learn the three steps of sincere gratitude that allow us to fully recognize and acknowledge how others are contributing to us.

Week  4: Jan. 13, 2025, 6-8 pm GMT/1-3 pm ET | New Year New Conversation

Join us for a creative practice of Mandala Poetry to inspire us to step into a conversation with clarity. In this workshop, we will use prompts and free writing to go deep to say what we want to say in just the way we would like to.

Week 6: Jan. 27, 2025, 6-8 pm. GMT/1-3 pm. ET, Speaking for my Parts/ NVC and Internal Family Systems

The language of parts comes from Dr. Richard Schwartz’s Internal Family Systems (IFS) model and is widely used in therapeutic practice. Parts work is becoming more mainstream and finding its way into business, schools, and teachings on emotional intelligence. Parts work can be the missing link to free you to express yourself fully without feeling guilty or stimulating guilt and responsibility for your feelings in others.

Week  5 RESCHEDULED: Feb 3, 2025, 6-8 pm GMT/1-3 pm ET | Shame – the Hidden Emotion

This workshop looks at the universal feeling of shame sometimes called the magic emotion because it hides beneath others or stops them from fully expressing themselves. Learn some of the common reactions to shame and the positive intention beneath this most unwanted feeling. It may change your mind about shame.
